Elves 2 -NS58 V3.4 Firmware:
1. Optimized an issue where the controller couldn’t use the HOME button in combination with other buttons on the Steam platform in Bluetooth mode.
2. Improved the accuracy of joystick calibration on the controller.
3. For some players who have a habit of immediately releasing the joystick after moving it to the edge in certain games, causing unnecessary character turnaround when the joystick returns to the center (for example, in Super Smash Bros.), a special Anti-Snapback Mode has been added. This is a low-sampling-rate joystick mode that helps prevent unwanted turnaround caused by a high sampling rate when the joystick snaps back to the center. If this control method is not used in the game, it is not recommended to enable this mode.
Anti-Snapback Mode (low-sampling-rate joystick mode) Activation:
Press the Setting button and the Screenshot button simultaneously. When the controller vibrates twice, it enters the Anti-Snapback Mode (low-sampling-rate joystick mode)
* One vibration indicates the joystick is in regular dead zone On mode with high-sampling-rate.
* Twice vibrations indicate the joystick is in Anti-Snapback Mode,a special dead zone On mode with low-sampling-rate.
* Long vibration indicates the joystick is in default regular dead zone Off mode with high-sampling-rate.
Upgrade Method:
1.With the controller powered off, connect it to the computer using a USB C to A cable with data transfer functionality.
2.Press and hold the Setting button( the gear icon button) on the controller, then press Home button. The controller will be powerd on and a "GuliKit" USB drive will appear on the computer,and the drive letter will show the current firmware version number of the controller.
3.Unzip the downloaded upgrade firmware file first,next copy the corresponding "***.bin" file to the root directory of the USB drive.
After a few seconds, the controller will automatically power off and the USB drive will disappear from the computer, indicating that the upgrade is finished.
Note:
• The controller will automatically power off after the upgrade is completed. Do not unplug the USB cable before that.
•If you want to stop upgrading during the process, you can just turn off the controller by pressing the OFF button on the back, and next press the Home button to power it on to exit the upgrade mode.
• After the upgrade is completed, it is recommended to calibrate the joysticks on the controller. With the controller powered on, simultaneously press and hold the "L, R, D-pad Left, and A" buttons for 6 seconds.
Then fully move the left and right joysticks in complete circles for several times. The controller will vibrate once to indicate that calibration is completed.
• Since different decompression softwares have different file caching methods, it is recommended to unzip the firmware package first before copying the firmware for controller upgrade. Directly dragging or copying the firmware from the compressed package may result in unsuccessful upgrade or dead controller. If you encounter such a situation, please unzip the firmware package first and then follow the correct steps to run the upgrade again to resolve the issue.
• Due to the security zone for the firmware upgrade, you can check the updated firmware version number by restarting the controller at least once after the upgrade is completed.
